STELLENBOSCH, South Africa – May 30, 2025 – The picturesque Simonsberg hills are set to echo with soulful melodies and the inviting aroma of traditional cheese fondue as Delheim Wine Estate proudly announces the return of its much-loved Live Music Sundays. Kicking off on Sunday, July 6, and running until August 31, these enchanting afternoons will feature a diverse line-up of live musicians, creating the perfect winter escape.
Guests will be welcomed with traditional Glühwein before indulging in a delectable culinary experience. The offering includes an appetiser, followed by Delheim’s famous cheese fondue, and concludes with coffee and dessert. This year, Delheim is delighted to enhance its fondue experience by partnering with fellow family business and award-winning cheese producer, Kleinrivier Cheese. For years, Delheim has featured Kleinrivier’s Raclette, Gruberg, and Colby cheeses in its fondues, and to celebrate this cherished relationship, pre-packed Kleinrivier Fondue cheese-kits will be available for purchase, allowing guests to recreate the magic at home.
The eclectic musical programme promises something for everyone, spanning traditional Bavarian and German tunes, smooth jazz, contemporary pop covers, and heartfelt Afrikaans music. Delheim’s extensive range of award-winning wines will be available for purchase at cellar-door prices to complement the meal and music. Events run from 12:00 to 15:00.
